摘要: There are four known stearoyl-CoA desaturase (SCD) enzyme isoforms in mouse and two humans that required for the biosynthesis of monounsaturated fatty acids, mainly oleate. SCD1 isoform plays a role regulation energy metabolism lipid synthesis, but roles other SCD have not been investigated. Here we show SCD2 is important synthesis early development survival.
