摘要: Although the prevalence and risk factors of emotional distress among cancer patients are well documented, less is known in Saudi Arabia about such issue. The current study explores describes that symptom diagnosed during their radiation therapy. A total 40 patients, recruited from largest oncology centre Arabia, completed study's questionnaire, which included HADS fatigue inventory. Among survivors, depression was 60%, anxiety 37.5%, 77.5%. Emotional distress, having any previous symptoms, reported 82% patients. Hierarchical regression analyses show chemotherapy experiences other predictors contributed modestly to variance models, compared predictor variable with complementary intervention, significantly. Complementary intervention top contributing explaining as a model. This concurrent result may be helpful developing clinical guideline strategies for psycho-oncology care bridge gap between universal standard reality health services.
