摘要: This study tested the idea of habits as a form goal-directed automatic behavior. Expanding on that are mentally represented associations between goals and actions, it was proposed capable activating habitual action. More specific, when established (e.g., frequent cycling to university), very activation goal act having attend lectures at university) automatically evokes response bicycle). Indeed, confirmed that, behavior is habitual, behavioral responses activated automatically. In addition, results 3 experiments indicated (a) automaticity in conditional presence an active (cf. goal-dependent automaticity; J. A. Bargh, 1989), supporting goal-action links, (b) formation implementation intentions (i.e., creation strong mental link action) may simulate habits.
