摘要: Bioenergy is often considered an important component, alongside other renewables, to mitigate global warming and reduce fossil fuel dependency. Determining sustainable strategies for utilizing biomass resources, however, requires a holistic perspective reflect wider range of potential environmental consequences. To circumvent the limitations scenario-based life cycle assessment (LCA), we develop multiobjective optimization model systematically identify environmentally optimal use energy under given system constraints. Besides satisfying annual final demand, constraints comprise availability arable land, technology- system-specific capacities, relevant policy targets.
