摘要: Few studies have examined the association between dieting and weight change in general population results been inconsistent. To best of our knowledge, no such study has done middle-aged African Americans. We 10,554 white American men women who were participants Atherosclerosis Risk Communities (ARIC) Study attended examinations 1986 1994. found that prevalence women, men, was 6.5, 2.3, 3.5, 0.9%, respectively. After controlling for covariates, difference mean annual gain dieters non-dieters 0.61, 0.46, 0.59 kg/year among In conclusion, this cohort aged 45–64 years, self-reported associated with a larger than non-dieting over period 6 years.
