摘要: In arid regions, over pumping and extraction of groundwater in excess recharge has resulted sharp depleting quantitatively qualitatively. The effect topographic attributes on accumulation salinity was investigated the southwest part Al Ain, Abu Dhabi using Digital Elevation Model (DEM). Seven attributes, such as topography, slope, aspect, relief, catchment area drainage network were calculated. results showed that is drained by 3 main basins emerging from Hafeet Mountain and drain southwesterly toward Ain Fayda sand dunes. also all hydrological elements are strongly structural controlled NW NNE trending fault zones. Spatial correlation performed to correlate data collected from samples. result strong between flow irrigation areas. These findings prove usefulness proposed methods predicting identifying sites high region. Keywords Hafeet Mountain, Ain, UAE, Groundwater, Remote sensing
