摘要: In the present study efforts have been made to evaluate ground water potential zones for targeting using IRS-IC LISS-II1 geo-coded data on 1:50,000 scale. The drainage, geology, geomorpholgoy and lineament information has generated integrated hydro-geomorphological characteristics of Gairnukh watershed, Bhandara district, Maharashtra delineation zones. analysis reveals that deep valley fills with thick alluvium excellent, shallow tills deeply weathered pediplains thin very good moderately in geological formations Tirodi Gneiss Sausar Groups god these units are highly favourable exploration development. Shallow pediments Gnesis marked under moderate zone. Tiridi Sausor grouped limited category, except along fractures/lineaments. Structural hills poor prospects. Inselbergs Linear ridges prospects inter-relationship was found among units, geomorphological density, yield data.
