摘要: Abstract The effects of local inhomogeneity in a two-lane asymmetric simple exclusion process coupled with Langmuir kinetics are studied. model is related to some biological processes such as the movement molecular motors on parallel homogeneous and inhomogeneous filaments without restrictions for them jump between these protofilaments well random (e.g., kinesin) attachments detachments from filaments. assumed be located at one two lanes. its neighboring lane focused this paper. Density inter-lane current investigated. It found that when value hopping rate ( p ) small, effect can observed both lanes due particles changing weakened either and/or lane-changing Ω increases. Average density average also calculated, it profile exhibits complex variation behavior increase , A (attachment rate) D (detachment small. Mean-field approximation presented agrees our Monte Carlo simulations.
