Effects of Langmuir Kinetics of Two-Lane Totally Asymmetric Exclusion Processes in Protein Traffic

摘要: In this paper, we study a two-lane totally asymmetric simple exclusion process (TASEP) coupled with random attachment and detachment of particles (Langmuir kinetics) in both lanes under open boundary conditions. Our model can describe the directed motion molecular motors, free inter-lane transition motors between filaments. focus on some finite-size effects system because normally sizes most real systems are finite small (e.g., size ≤ 10,000). A special effect has been observed, which is that density wall moves left first then move towards right increase lane-changing rate. We called it jumping effect. find increasing rates will weaken also confirmed when large enough, disappears, twolane similar profile to single-lane TASEP Langmuir kinetics.
