摘要: The interaction between steel tube and concrete core is the key issue for understanding behavior of concrete-filled columns (CFTs). This study investigates force transfer by natural bond or mechanical shear connectors under three types loading. Two three-dimensional nonlinear finite element models are developed to core. program ABAQUS used. Material geometric nonlinearities considered in analysis. damage plasticity model provided used simulate material behavior. Comparisons analyses own experimental results made verify models. A good agreement observed numerical results. Parametric studies using performed investigate effects diameterto-thickness ratio, uniaxial compressive strength concrete, length connectors, tensile connectors.
