摘要: Liquid manure handling is the most commonly used system to remove, treat, and store swine waste in southern United States. Although an efficient removal system, green house gas ammonia emissions from surface of anaerobic lagoons liquid can be detrimental environment. Researchers at Oklahoma State University have developed Anaerobic Sequencing Batch Reactor (ASBR) digester as a potential pretreatment reduce organic loadings on lagoons. Results experiments both laboratory (12 l) farm (430 m) ASBRs show that 60 80 percent reductions matter loading are possible using ASBR. Specific biogas yield, volume produced per unit mass load, was 0.14 0.16 l/mg COD for reactors 0.21 scale reactor. Further research underway determine augment yield high energy liquids, quantify nutrient capture settled sludge.
