摘要: Abstract The aim was to study the polymorphisms of melatonin receptor 1A gene ( MTNR1A ) and its relationship with seasonal reproduction in Sarda sheep breed. Four-thousand multiparous ewes reared under natural photoperiod were randomly chosen. Genomic DNA extracted subjected PCR for amplification main part exon II ovine (GenBank P locus also present a higher incidence +/+ C/C genotypes. animals that carried one these two isoforms showed not reproductive activity lambing period September–December.
