摘要: There is provided an apparatus (30) and methods for the manufacture of metallic articles (49). A molten metal stream (36) disrupted, such as by gas atomization (42), to form a plurality droplets (38). The (38) pass through cooling zone (44) having length sufficient allow up about 30 volume percent each solidify. mold (46) then receives completes solidification When under solid, retain liquid characteristics readily flow within (46).
