摘要: In this chapter, we present an overview of antidepressant pharmacotherapy for depressive disorders in children and adolescents. Our intended audience is the generalist, who may be called on to treat older adolescents whom demarcation between adulthood adolescence not clear-cut. From vantage point clinical psychopharmacologist treats adults, several areas require special attention adolescents, including (a) recognition, diagnosis, differential diagnosis; (b) selection psychosocial intervention used with pharmacotherapy; (c) dosing strategies based pharmacokinetics pharmacodynamics; (d) context common comorbid conditions; (e) duration therapy. One most startling differences fields adult childhood therapy relative paucity research data from trials that can make informed decisions.
