Paroxetine treatment of mood and anxiety disorders in children and adolescents.

摘要: This article provides an overview of the use paroxetine in treatment mood and anxiety disorders children adolescents. Although not currently approved for patients younger than 18 years age, efficacy safety have been studied several pediatric disorders. The epidemiology, diagnosis, course major depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social panic disorder are discussed briefly. Current available data on based double-blind, placebo-controlled trials open-label studies adolescents reviewed. Clinical guidelines recommendations regarding future directions study discussed.
