摘要: The implantation of exogenous cells or tissues has been a popular and successful strategy to overcome physical discontinuity support axon growth in experimental models spinal cord injury (SCI). Cellular therapies exhibit multifarious potential for SCI restoration, providing not only supportive substrate upon which axons can traverse the site, but also reducing progressive tissue damage scarring, facilitating remyelination repair, acting as source replacing re-establishing lost neural its circuitry. past two decades research into cell repair have seen evolution from whole strategies, such peripheral nerve grafts, use specific, purified types diverse range sources and, recently, employment stem precursor populations that form full complement types. Although progression laboratory clinical implementation slow, human safety efficacy trials involving several within US appear be close at hand.
