The electronic media usage patterns of Unisa communication science students : an exploratory survey

摘要: The main aims of this study were to gather information on the use/non-use new technologies, such as computers and Internet, guide lecturers in Department Communication Science are future development communication courses. A total 8 750 questionnaires was sent all students registered for 2000. response rate about 28 per cent, that is, 2 452 returned questionnaires. Electronic media usage patterns include use cell phones, Internet. Approximately 80 cent indicated they used while 60 38 had access Internet respectively.
