摘要: Global mobile data traffic consumption and usage continues to increase rapidly leading congested networks. Currently, cellular networks are overloaded with due the rapid growth of broadband subscriptions increasing popularity diversified applications for smartphones multiple wireless interfaces flat-rate pricing model One possible practical solution alleviate this problem is offloading from primary access technology WiFi infrastructure gain extra capacity improve overall network performance. As strategy what when offload non-trivial, it vital importance develop novel algorithms guide process. This paper addresses solutions network-controlled in Long Term Evolution (LTE) performance needs exceed capability LTE access. It then compares each using different metrics. In detail, an optimized signal-to-noise ratio-threshold based handover extension 3rd Generation Partnership Project standard Access Network Discovery Selection Function (ANDSF) framework proposed. Our simulation results have shown that ANDSF discovery can be used control amount offloading.
