摘要: Abstract Background & aims: Cancer-induced weight loss is associated with poor outcomes and common in pancreatic cancer. The aims were to determine whether stabilising for patients unresectable cancer was improved survival quality of life (QoL) identify determinants stabilisation. Methods: A post hoc analysis performed using data from 107 a multicentre trial. Patients categorised as losing (>1 kg lost) or stable (⩽1 kg after an 8 week nutrition intervention period. Group duration (Kaplan Meier) QoL (EORTC QLQ-C30) compared. Predictors stability determined logistic regression analysis. Results: stabilisation survived longer baseline (log rank test 5.53, P=0.019). They also reported higher scores (P=0.037) greater mean energy intake (P Conclusions: Weight over period weight-losing QoL.
