摘要: The stability of the Space Shuttle on-orbit flight control system is determined for a class payloads which payload tilted out orbiter bay and bending can be modeled as localized at pivot. Examples are Inertial Upper Stage or Centaur with attached spacecraft during deployment. many inertial, geometric, jet option parameters reduced to smaller set allows determination instability function frequency other elements set. resulting charts, presented, used by designers misssion planners predict possible without elaborate analysis simulation.
