摘要: A describing function is used to model a phase plane controller which part of the Space Shuttle on-orbit Reaction Control System autopilot. frequency domain stability analysis closed-loop control system applied study potential flight interaction with Orbiter and class payloads deployed from tilt table. Phase-gain plot techniques are show that expansion angular rate limits stiffening table pivot do not always enhance stability. Instability region approximations mapped as limit, payload geometry, jet used, natural pivot. Comparison simulation results shows excellent correlation.
