摘要: Abstract The increasing applications of metal matrix composites (MMCs) for structural and wear resistant components in aerospace, automotive recreational fields necessitated an in-depth analysis quality machined surfaces, which determines the ability material to withstand severe conditions stress, temperature, corrosion, controls its longevity reliability. introduction compressive residual stresses surface is known alleviate damage some extent help ensure better integrity. Based on this premise, experimental work was carried out using CBN inserts with without wiper cutting edge also by varying other process parameters. During experiments, forces from machining zone were monitored after machining, finish, microstructure surfaces measured. It observed that geometry reduces lowers forces.
