摘要: Abstract The hard abrasive ceramic component which increases the mechanical characteristics of metal matrix composites (MMC) causes quick wear and premature tool failure in machining operations. aim paper is to compare behaviour high rake angle carbide tools with their diamond coated versions high-speed an Al 2 O 3 6061 MMC. influence cutting parameters, particular feed speed, on surface finish has been investigated. higher abrasion resistance coatings results increased life performances different chip formation mechanisms.
