摘要: Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi form mutualistic, symbiotic associations with the roots of more than 80% land plants. The are incapable completing their life cycle in absence a host root. Their spores can germinate and grow host, but hyphal growth is very limited. Little known about molecular mechanisms that govern signalling recognition between AM In one first stages recognition, hyphae show extensive branching vicinity before formation appressorium, structure used to penetrate plant Host release molecules trigger branching, these factors have not been isolated. Here we isolated factor from root exudates Lotus japonicus spectroscopic analysis chemical synthesis identify it as strigolactone, 5-deoxy-strigol. Strigolactones group sesquiterpene lactones, previously seed-germination stimulants for parasitic weeds Striga Orobanche. natural strigolactones 5-deoxy-strigol, sorgolactone strigol, synthetic analogue, GR24, induced germinating fungus Gigaspora margarita at low concentrations.
