摘要: In Italy in the past three years, electricity generation from renewables recorded high growth rates. 2011, it continued to have an upword trend (+7.8% on 2010), reaching 82,961 GWh. The EU directive renewable requires increase energy with a target of 19.6% total consumption renewables. 23.5%, surpassing by wide margin proposed target. Moreover year 2011 represents turning point since until 2010, extent was mostly affected behavior hydro source, while output is stable and new (solar, wind biomass) increase. At same time effort management science assessing efficiency its goals use Data Envelopment Analysis, mathematical programming technique able estimate comparative set units which, though distinct production processes technology, take given level inputs produce quantity outputs. this paper technology (photovoltaic, wind, biomass, hydro) evaluated Analysis at regional considering investment operating costs as installed power capacity, intensity CO2 avoided For each sources more less efficient region selected accurate analysis obtained results outlined. policy implications conclude paper.
