摘要: Abstract Enhancing adhesion is of primary importance in preparation insert injection molded plastic–metal hybrids. Here, the combination coupling agent application parameters and steel oxide microstructure effects on thermoplastic urethane–stainless hybrids was studied. The stainless structure first modified by electrolytical polishing subsequent oxidation treatment, then coated with N-(β-aminoethyl)-γ-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (γ-AEAPS) prior to overmolding urethane. properties formed silane coatings ultimately were determined several microscopical methods, infrared spectroscopy mechanical testing. bond strength depended layer thickness. Also surface had a remarkable influence coating formation resulting hybrid strength.
