摘要: The bacterial flora on the heads of four different witloof chicory varieties was examined. 590 isolates were characterized by their SDS-PAGE protein profiles; they revealed 149 fingerprint types. fluorescentPseudomonas type CH001 abundantly found all Fourteen other types occurred in high densities more than twice. Among these, following identified: fluorescentPseudomonas, nonfluorescentPseudomonas sp.,Erwinia herbicola, Erwinia sp., andFlavobacterium sp. majority (90%) only once. It also our objective to isolate bacteria applicable biological control phytopathogens. Isolates tested for vitro antagonistic activity and possible deleterious effect plant growth. FluorescentPseudomonas andSerratia liquefaciens against fungi. 161 strains, five able produce disease symptoms leaves upon inoculation. Comparison results this study with those obtained two previous analyses that leaf microflora showed some similarities roots. seed differed from both
