摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on the role of peripheral activity from nociceptors in development and maintenance hyperalgesic states. In psychophysical terms, hyperalgesia allodynia are best understood as consequences leftward shift that occurs, following a injury, curve relates stimulus intensity to pain sensation. causes lower portion fall innocuous range (allodynia), whereas top shows an increased sensation noxious stimuli (hyperalgesia). Allodynia provide protective mechanism organism, preventing individual stimulating injured area so doing help healing process. addition, new model for spinal cord mechanisms is described chapter. has been recently proposed based central presynaptic interactions at level between low threshold mechanoreceptors nociceptors.
