摘要: Objective This study aims to investigate the possible relationship between plasma concentrations of apelin, visfatin and resistin levels first episode psychosis patients chronic schizophrenia patients. Methods A total number 29 untreated with psychosis, 30 randomly selected weight- body mass index-matched healthy volunteers were included. The Diagnostic Statistical Manual Mental Disorders 4th edition, Positive Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) Clinical Global Impression applied patient groups. enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method was used measure levels. Results There no difference in age, marital status, occupation, BMI Plasma apelin significantly higher group than control group. statistically significant groups: group, both correlation PANSS scores Conclusion To our knowledge, this is which investigates schizophrenia. Based on results study, may be related some central nervous system pathologies, including severity a psychiatric disorder.
