摘要: Instead of the progress in understanding etiology Parkinson's disease (PD), effective methods to prevent progression have not been developed and only symptomatic treatment is currently possible. One possible pathways slow protection dopaminergic neurons by maintaining mitochondrial quality control neuron cells. Recent studies showed that most promising target for pharmacological effects on mitochondria Nrf2/ARE signaling cascade. It participates maintenance homeostasis, which provided an optimal ratio processes biogenesis mitophagy, as well ROS production scavenging. Nrf2 activators are capable modulating these processes, homeostasis neurons. In addition, can synergistically interact with other transcription factors, example, PGC-1a regulation YY1 increase antioxidant defense. All this makes drugs could support control, which, combination protection, significantly down pathogenesis PD. Some compounds undergone laboratory at stage clinical trials now.
