摘要: Abstract Novel aspartic acid incorporated monolithic columns were prepared to efficiently affinity purify immunoglobulin G (IgG) from human plasma. The synthesised in a stainless steel HPLC column (20 cm × 5 mm id) by situ bulk polymerisation of N -methacryloyl- l -aspartic (MAAsp), polymerisable derivative acid, and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA). Monolithic [poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate- acid) (PHEMAsp)] characterised swelling studies, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) scanning electron microscopy (SEM). used for IgG adsorption/desorption aqueous solutions adsorption depended on the buffer type, maximum solution phosphate was 0.085 mg/g at pH 6.0. allowed one-step purification with negligible capacity decrease after ten adsorption–desorption cycles.
