摘要: Phosphatidylethanolamine-binding protein (PEBP) has been demonstrated to bind Raf-1 and mitogen-activated kinase kinase, components of the extracellular signal-regulated (ERK) pathway, thereby inhibiting pathway resulting in suppression cell proliferation. In present study, we examined whether PEBP is involved differentiation induction human keratinocytes. expression was immunohistochemically normal skin cancers with different properties. not expressed basal layer epidermis but spinous granular layers skin. The differentiated undifferentiated carcinoma. also cultured epidermal keratinocytes which induced by calcium treatment. Involucrin used as a marker for cells. Northern blotting analysis indicated that both involucrin mRNAs were enhanced 6 h after treatment 2.0 mM CaCl(2). amount increased this To investigate keratinocytes, HaCaT transfected an vector. Fluorescent immunostain revealed cells expressing exhibited enlarged flattened shape, immunoblot analysis. Although ERK altered, phosphorylated levels decreased proliferation partly inhibited expression. These results indicate only inhibits induces
