摘要: In this study, we have sequenced the C-terminal part of Epstein- Barr virus (EBV)-BNLF-1 gene encoding for latent membrane protein-1 from tissues EBV-positive Danish Hodgkin's disease (HD) and Malaysian peripheral T-cell lymphomas (PTLs) tonsils infectious mononucleosis (IM). Our study showed that some 7 single-base mutations 30-bp deletion previously detected between codons amino acid 322 366 in BNLF-1 nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line CAO were present all PTLs 60% PTLs. HD IM cases, about 30%. The single base occurred independently, detectable majority EBV type B-positive cases. These findings suggest CAO-BNLF-1 do not characterize a new A substrain. Rather, positions are hot spots may mutated independently through evolution strains.
