Interdependent Group Contingencies Decrease Adolescents' Disruptive Behaviors During Group Therapy: A Practitioner's Demonstration.

摘要: Adolescents who have been adjudicated for illegal sexual behavior may receive treatment that requires attending group therapy sessions and classes. For some adolescents, nonsexual problem (e.g., verbal outbursts, noncompliance) interferes with their ability to participate in treatment. Researchers used a multiple-baseline across groups design an embedded changing criterion evaluate the effects of interdependent contingency decreasing disruptive adolescents two groups. Results indicated procedure was effective reducing emitted by therapy. Measures social validity both therapists students viewed overall procedures outcomes as acceptable. Implications contingencies diverse populations are discussed.
