摘要: The antitumor effects of two iridoid compounds, geniposidic acid (GA) and geniposide (GP), were investigated in mice along with their possible on radioprotection after sublethal X-irradiation. Decreases the growth implanted tumor by ascitic cells a result intraperitoneal administration GA GP at high concentrated levels. This was achieved exerting levels dosage dose-dependent manner. Except 12th day treatment 500 mg/kg, reduced radiation treated drugs 30 min preirradiated period peripheral leukocytes not observed significantly whole-body And except 7th treatment, when these compounds administered i.p. to before 4 Gy irradiation, neither nor enhanced postirradiation responses splenic blastogenesis PHA. In addition, might be more potent inhibitor than combined X-irradiation, though there no significant synergetic effect activity. preliminary results hematological blastogenic observations this study suggested that they may very well, partially, play role an effective anticancer product ability decrease undesirable damage hematologic tissue dose irradiation.
