摘要: The aim of the present study has been to investigate metallurgical parameters controlling microstructural evolution and porosity formation in Al–Si–Mg Al–Si–Cu alloys, through a characteristics directionally solidified A356 319 type alloys as function iron content, Sr addition (~250 ppm), solidification rate. In Sr-modified is frequently associated with strontium oxides (particles or films), well β-Al5FeSi phase platelets. These (with stoichiometric composition close Al2SrO3) are formed during melting, due high oxygen affinity strontium, difficult remove via degassing. pore morphology (round irregular) determined by form oxide, i.e. fine dispersed particles thick films. Round pores also observed surrounded Al–Si eutectic regions. Aluminum oxide films trapped molten metal lead coarser deeper than those oxides. can link each other characterized presence within aluminum films, periphery. these controlled amount gases solidification.
