摘要: Most of the bioactive microbial metabolites were isolated from Actinobacteria especially Streptomycetes and also some rare actinomycetes. During last 20-30 years, interest in marine microflora increased due to investigation novel compounds antibiotics enzymes. The sediment samples collected different stations Pichavaram mangrove ecosystem (11°24’-11°27’N 79°46’-79°48’), situated along Southeast coast India, for isolation actinomycetes, using Kuster agar medium. strains identified physiological biochemical methods. Eight Actinomycetes sp. tested their antagonistic activity against human pathogens. Antagonistic α-glucosidase inhibitors activity. showed significant inhibitory α -glucosidase enzyme. Of 8 strains, only one
