Consensus Guidelines for the Treatment of Atopic Dermatitis in Korea (Part II): Systemic Treatment.

摘要: Background Since the treatment guidelines for atopic dermatitis (AD) were issued by Korean Atopic Dermatitis Association (KADA) work group in 2006, there have been further advances systemic of AD. Objective We aimed to establish updated evidence- and experience-based Methods compiled a database references from relevant systematic reviews regarding management AD, including antihistamines, antimicrobials, immunomodulators, allergen-specific immunotherapy, phototherapy, adjunctive treatment, complementary alternative medicines. Evidence each statement was graded classified based on strength recommendation. Thirty-nine council members KADA participated three rounds votes expert consensus recommendations established. Results The use antihistamines is recommended relieve pruritus prevent exacerbation due scratching AD patients. Infection should be controlled as needed long-term medication avoided. For moderate severe patients, concomitant active treatments with immunomodulators are indicated. Cyclosporine first choice among others considered second-line alternatives. Allergen-specific immunotherapy could effective patients aeroallergen hypersensitivity. Phototherapy can useful narrow-band ultraviolet B most option. Complementary medicines cannot treating Conclusion expect these reference guide physicians choosing appropriate improve quality life decrease unnecessary social medical costs.
