摘要: Abstract In accounting for carbon emissions, the conventional wisdom is that service industry ‘emissions light’, but this not supported when goods and other inputs to services production are included. We examine greenhouse gas emissions in detail Australia, Germany, Italy, UK USA find similarities industry. Taking as a case study, we apply 7see system dynamics modelling approach accounts both physical capacity limits empirical data from economic activity. Service more than doubled imported included consumption basis, would reduce only 42 million tonnes annually by 2050. Tackling requires additional efficiency measures energy-use goods-use considering emission intensities of exporting countries imports. The four key underpinning continuing grow electronic, pharmaceutical, materials machinery. Energy policy can deliver net-zero treating single unified entity, especially important because it provides majority employment.
