摘要: Shape and size consistency of Ag nanoparticles is a challenging aspect when practical plasmonic devices are to be developed for their surface-specific activities. This study presents simple chemical synthesis process which enables effective rather uniform entrapment in dielectric oxide matrix at room temperature, without any assistance physical/chemical agents. Uniformly distributed citrates capped were preformed with modified “Turkevich” approach subsequently entrapped mesoporous ZrO2 thin films. On the basis transmission electron microscopy photoelectron spectroscopy, results, size, shape, states studied correlated properties nanocomposite film formed by such nanoparticles. Plasmonic stability these was confirmed comparison dispersion on glass, explained using extended Mie scattering theory.
