摘要: • The role of early surgery in the management primary open angle glaucoma is under debate. To determine whether previous medical therapy influences outcome subsequent trabeculectomy, we retrospectively reviewed results two groups patients. first group underwent having had an average 2 weeks preoperative therapy, and this was compared with a patients who received at least 1 year topical before undergoing trabeculectomy (the multiple-treatment group). were similar terms number variables, including race, age, sex, presenting intraocular pressures, visual fields, they differed only known duration their disease. success rate significantly higher as that (P
