摘要: Over the past couple of decades, ceramide (Cer) has emerged as a lipid mediator cell signaling in variety events, including apoptosis and differentiation, its intracellular levels are tightly controlled. Several enzymes known to be regulators Cerlevels. One these, kinase (CERK), catalyzes conversion 1-phosphate (C1P). Although activity this enzyme was reported 1989, CERK-gene only recently identified. CERK, which is activated by Ca2+, possesses typical diacylglycerol catalytic domain, pleckstrin homology Ca2+/CaM binding domain. The groups that examined CERK/C1P functions suggested involved many processes including: membrane fusion, inflammation, DNA-synthesis, Ca2+ increase, other processes. These investigations over decade revealed them reviewed here.
