摘要: UNLABELLED This pilot study looked at the provision of palliative care in context primary health a developing setting Chile. RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The aimed to delineate experience from perspective patients and professionals; examine as propitious milieu for countries; generate opportunities international collaboration between Chile Canada. METHODOLOGY followed tenets hermeneutic phenomenology participatory research. Research activities included audio-taped, in-depth individual interviews participant observation home. RESULTS Patients expressed contentment with services provided by program. support family members, friends, neighbours, team was critical their home care. Health professionals showed great enthusiasm keeping program going despite limited resources. They WHO national guidelines symptom relief involved families sick person. CONCLUSION through increases access countries.
