摘要: Measurement is a fundamental step in improving the quality of care for dying patients and their families. Yet, there are important methodological challenges to be addressed. In conducting surveys about patient family experience, research needed regarding relative merits cost-effectiveness prospective or retrospective after patient's death. Proxies an source information given that majority can not interviewed last week life. Research understand who best able serve as proxy validity reports. The comparability alternative data collection strategies need examined. These other issues addressed designing reliable, valid, clinically manageable measures.
