摘要: Summary Two enteropathogenic E. coli strains isolated from a calf and piglet succumbed to diarrhoea were studied. The bovine strain carried K99-antigen the porcine was K88-positive. Both agglutinated pig erythrocytes in presence of D-mannose. In test bacterial cell density 3 × 10 9 per ml doubling dilutions hereof used. haemagglutination titres 16 128, respectively. When bacteria exposed Colistin before mixing with red cells, inhibited completely 1.0 0.5 μ g/mg Colistin. At concentration 0.25 g/ml (1/4–1/2 MIC's) lowered by factor 16–32.
