摘要: Abstract The aims of the project were to (i) extract lipophilic persistent organic pollutants (POPs) from blood 99 East Greenland polar bears and assess combined mixture effect on estrogen receptor (ER) aryl hydrocarbon (AhR) mediated transactivity; (ii) To evaluate whether transactivities associated with selected POP markers, (iii) compare in earlier studies Greenlandic Inuit. Lipophilic POPs extracted using a combination solid-phase extraction (SPE) high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). ER transactivity was determined luciferase reporter MVLN cell assay. extracts tested alone (XER) together 17β-estradiol (E2) as physiological mimic (XERcomp). Dioxins dioxin-like (DL) compounds by SPE Supelco Dioxin Prep System®. AhR Hepa 1.12cR Agonistic elicited 19% samples, further increased E2 induced response found for 52%, whereas 17% antagonized response. Positive correlations subadult between XER several biomarkers. XERcomp correlated positively each other. A total 91% bear agonistic transactivity. AhR-TCDD equivalent (AhR-TEQ) median levels higher among adult compared bears, but not significantly.
