摘要: We report the sequence of Halobacterium salinarum strain R1 chromosome and its four megaplasmids. Our set protein-coding genes is supported by extensive proteomic homology data. The structures plasmids, which show three large-scale duplications (adding up to 100 kb), were unequivocally confirmed cosmid analysis. completely colinear virtually identical that NRC-1. Correlation plasmid sequences revealed 210 kb occurs only in R1. remaining 350 shows virtual identity two strains. Nevertheless, number overall structure plasmids are largely incompatible. Also, 20% protein differ despite near at DNA level. Finally, we genome-wide mobility data for insertion from conclude strains NRC-1 originate same natural isolate. This exemplifies evolution laboratory.
