摘要: This study examined the analgesic effect of cocaine in Spontaneously Hypertensive Rats (SHR), which are considered a suitable model for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and Wistar (WIS) rats both sexes using hot-plate test. In addition, we tested whether habituation to unheated apparatus, that "normalizes" basal hypoalgesic phenotype SHR, alters subsequent cocaine-induced analgesia (CIA) this strain. SHR were compared WIS test showed higher sensitivity CIA. Habituation reduced nociceptive latency suggesting cognitive/emotional modulation pain strain, but did not alter magnitude The present shows increased CIA may be related abnormalities mesocorticolimbic dopaminergic system. Further studies strain reveal new information on neurobiological mechanisms underlying ADHD its co-morbidity with drug addiction.
