摘要: Objectives. This study sought to determine the feasibility of coronary sinus flow velocity analysis by transesophageal Doppler echocardiography for estimation reserve in patients with syndrome X and artery disease. Background. Coronary provides useful information disease X. Current methods measuring are invasive or require extensive laboratory equipment, both. Transesophageal recordings before after vasodilator application may allow noninvasive determination reserve. Methods. We obtained dipyridamole administration (0.6 mg/kg body weight per 5 min) 9 X, 14 significant left 22 age-matched control patients. used formula anterograde minus retrograde time integral times heart rate as an index flow. was calculated dividing variables respective baseline values. Results. Technically adequate were 44 (98%) 45 Compared that group (2.78 ± 0.95 [mean ±SD]), significantly lower (1.21 0.23, p ≤ 0.001) well those (1.47 0.7, 0.001). Using a cutoff value 1.8, sensitivity, specificity overall predictive determinations were, respectively, 100%, 91% 94% 86%, 89% Conclusions. calculation is feasible large proportion might be evaluation severe
