摘要: Abstract 1. The citrate concentration is reduced in tibial epiphyseal cartilage from rats made rachitic with diets low phosphate and vitamin D. Addition of D to the diet for 3 7 days raises level without otherwise altering rickets histologically. 2. Citrate utilization by slices incubated vitro was measured determining production 14CO2 [6-14C]citrate. tissues produced at a rate several-fold that tissue normal or given and/or inorganic phosphate. This difference not accounted variation apparent size pool. 3. One explanation decrease content epiphyses increased this substrate cartilage.
